Assistant Principal
Ms. Brandy Emmitte
Brandy Emmitte was named the assistant principal at Stuard Elementary in 2023. Emmitte has been a special education instructional facilitator in Aledo ISD for the last three years, serving both Stuard and Walsh elementaries during the 2022-23 school year. Prior to that, she was a special education teacher in Aledo ISD and in the Williamson County Schools system in Tennessee. Emmitte also taught second grade in the Wake County Public Schools system in North Carolina. Emmitte, who was the Aledo ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2016 and the IDEA winner in 2017, has a bachelor’s from Texas A&M and a master’s from Vanderbilt University.
“I am incredibly honored to serve as Stuard Elementary’s new assistant principal,” Emmitte said. “Throughout my past eight years in Aledo ISD, I have had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the best educators and leaders in our district. I look forward to continuing to work alongside my Stuard community as we collectively pursue our commitment toward growing greatness in our young Bearcats.”
